Pasadena Bodhi Path will be having its third retreat of the year next month. Khedrub will be guiding us through a retreat the weekend of Sept 28 – 29, 9am – 4:30pm.
Meditation is the single most powerful tool to experience both the confusion and wisdom of our mind. We progressively train to be aware and let go of all that clouds our ability to see clearly: we transcend delusion and fully awaken to the enlightened state of profound peaceful wisdom and compassion. Study in the context of a retreat can enhance practice.During this two day retreat, we will continue reading Gendun Rinpoche’s “Heart Advice from a Mahamudra Master.” This is not a scholarly work but guidance straight from Rinpoche’s heart, meditator to meditator. With support from both a teacher and fellow students, retreat is the ideal situation to practice and study intensively, allowing our understanding to deepen naturally. You are warmly invited to join us for the entire retreat or any part. This will be the third retreat offered this year in the Pasadena area and we hope to be able to continue to offer retreats locally on a quarterly basis progressing through Rinpoche’s book at a pace set by attendees. You are encouraged to purchase the book, available at Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats.
More details will be forthcoming. Pre-registration is required. The retreat will be held at a private residence in Glendale. Space is limited, so the number of participants for the program will be 10-15. If you wish to attend, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for the registration form.
